Hermann FFA officer team holds retreat at Lake of the Ozarks

The fourteen Hermann FFA officers went to Tan-Tar-A Resort at Lake of the Ozarks for the annual officer retreat. While there, the officer team planned out this years activities and bonded as a team.
The 14 Hermann FFA members were interviewed and elected into office in April for the coming year. Their duties begin a long time before school starts. Success in a chapter relies greatly on proper planning.
Learning each other’s strengths and weaknesses is also helpful in working together.¬† In order to prepare them for their upcoming commitments, the team traveled to Lake of the Ozarks for a two-day officer retreat. The retreat began at the high school with some get-to-know-you activities, followed by some general planning.
The 2014-15 Officer team consists of Jacob Bockting, president; Quentin Starke, vice president; MiKayla Engemann, secretary; Heather Hingst, treasurer, Ashlyn Fries, reporter; Adam Fields, sentinel; Kasey Burwell; 2nd vice-president; Kyle Walker, chaplain; Grace Busch, historian; Dana Hart. parliamentarian, McKenzie Chasteen, assistant secreatary; Austin Gerlemann, assistant treasurer; Shyan McKee, assistant reporter; and Justin Schneider, assistant sentinel.
