Hermann FFA officer team holds retreat at Lake of the Ozarks

The fourteen Hermann FFA officers went to Tan-Tar-A Resort at Lake of the Ozarks for the annual officer retreat. While there, the officer team planned out this years activities and bonded as a team.
The 14 Hermann FFA members were interviewed and elected into office in April for the coming year. Their duties begin a long time before school starts. Success in a chapter relies greatly on proper planning.
Learning each other’s strengths and weaknesses is also helpful in working together.  In order to prepare them for their upcoming commitments, the team traveled to Lake of the Ozarks for a two-day officer retreat. The retreat began at the high school with some get-to-know-you activities, followed by some general planning.
The 2014-15 Officer team consists of Jacob Bockting, president; Quentin Starke, vice president; MiKayla Engemann, secretary; Heather Hingst, treasurer, Ashlyn Fries, reporter; Adam Fields, sentinel; Kasey Burwell; 2nd vice-president; Kyle Walker, chaplain; Grace Busch, historian; Dana Hart. parliamentarian, McKenzie Chasteen, assistant secreatary; Austin Gerlemann, assistant treasurer; Shyan McKee, assistant reporter; and Justin Schneider, assistant sentinel.
