Hermann students are off to Germany
A group of eight Hermann High School students and two chaperones left Monday morning, July 21, for an 11-day trip to Germany. The students will stay with host families in Bad Arolsen, Germany, Hermann’s sister city. James McKay, Hermann High School German teacher, and Paula Schannuth, high school athletic department secretary, are the chaperones. Pictured from left are Mrs. Schannuth, Drew Loehnig, Gwen LeRoy, Gabby Schannuth, Zach Speckhals, Colten Hubbard, Grace Busch, Madison Schneider, Valerie Hagedorn and Mr. McKay. The group will return on Aug. 1. The trip is part of the Hermann-Bad Arolsen student exchange program. A group of students from Bad Arolsen visited Hermann last spring.
