Swiss Meat & Sausage Co. wins at state competition

Swiss Meat & Sausage Company once again received recognition for its superior smoked meat and sausage products at the Missouri Association of Meat Processors’ 73rd annual convention and trade show, held at the Holiday Inn Executive Center, Columbia, March 2-4. They were among the top, most award winning meat companies at this year’s competition.
Grand Champion honors for Swiss Meat were: Hickory smoked bone-in ham, Best of Show smoked bratwurst and restructured beef jerky.
Reserved Grand Champion status was awarded for Dry Cured Smoked Bacon and Fully Cooked Corned Beef. This corned beef is the major component in Swiss Meat’s Grilled Rueben sandwich.
