Walk the halls of the Hermann Middle School for your health. From now until the clocks are turned forward again, anyone can walk the halls at Hermann Middle School. Walking is a cheap and easy way to work on getting healthy.
The Gasconade County R-1 School District is collaborating with Hermann Area District Hospital to have this walking opportunity for the community.
Here are the details: Monday through Friday, from 4:00 to 6:30 p.m. This is open for anyone over the age of 18.
There will be a binder on the table in the lobby on the left for participants to sign in. Please sign in so that staff members can track how many people are utilizing this program.
Inside the binder is a rough map to direct walkers on a course. If you complete the route three times, it is a little over a mile.
Hospital organizers are asking walker not to walk in the gym or cafeteria, only the halls. If there is an event going on, tell the gate staff that you are there to walk.
