Karinne Lane had a triple double to lead the top-seeded Hermann girls to an easy 76-16 first-round win over Wellsville in the Montgomery County tournament Monday.
The 5-4 junior guard scored 17 points, had 12 assists and 11 steals as the defending champions rolled into Wednesday night’s semifinals against Mexico.
The Lady Bearcats left the Lady Tigers in their dust after the first quarter when they outscored Wellsville 32-2.
Tesla Ruediger and Jamie Ruediger, who scored 14 and 13 points, respectively, combined to score 19 of Hermann’s 32 points in the first quarter.
