Bearcats start strong in 60-44 win over Wright City

Hermann’s boys used a 16-0 run to start the game to breeze past the Wright City Wildcats, 60-44, last Tuesday night in a non-conference basketball game on the Bearcats’ court.
Hermann improved to 3-1 overall and had things its way against the winless Wildcats.
The Bearcats’ first three baskets to start the second quarter were from behind the 3-point line. Craig Winkelmann made two of them and Grant Ruediger nailed one. Then after freshman Matt Hug added two straight baskets, Hermann’s lead was 31-9 with 2:39 left in the first half.
