Hermann’s girls built a large lead in the opening quarter, then coasted to a 67-46 Four Rivers Conference basketball win over St. Clair last Friday night on their home court.
It was the Lady Bearcats’ first league win of the season after a loss last Monday at Sullivan to open the FRC season.
Hermann received balanced scoring from their starters, with four of them reaching double figures.
Karrine Lane, point guard, fired in 19 points to go with nine steals, eight assists and seven rebounds. Jamie Gleeson, 5-10 forward, keeps piling up double-doubles as she dropped in 18 points and grabbed 14 rebounds. She added four steals. Lane and Gleeson are juniors.
