The Missouri State University Concert Chorale will make its second stop on its January tour in Hermann on Monday, Jan. 7. That’s when they will perform a concert at St. George Catholic Church. The concert will start at 7 p.m. The MSU chorale has appeared here many times, and is annually sponsored by the Hermann Arts Council
The choir, directed by Dr. Guy B. Webb, has toured extensively throughout the United States, to Puerto Rico, and in nine tours to Europe. The select choir of 52 voices has performed in New York’s Lincoln Center and for national and divisional conventions of the American Choral Directors Association and the Music Educators National Conference.
In 2010, the Chorale made a highly successful tour to Austria with concerts in Salzburg, Obervellach, Graz and Vienna.
On Sunday, Jan 6, the choir will perform at the Campus Lutheran Church in Columbia before coming to Hermann.
Then on Tuesday, Jan. 8, it has scheduled a concert at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Ladue; on Wednesday Jan 9, at the First Baptist Church in Pacific; and on  Thursday, Jan 10, at Christ Church Cathedral in downtown St. Louis.
