Two candidates have filed for school board seats in the Gasconade County R-1 School District.
Mike Pratte re-filed for another term, while Dustin Kallmeyer filed for his first term.
The terms of Pratte and Todd Witthaus expire next April, when the school board election will be held. If no more than two candidates file, no election will be necessary.
No new candidates have filed for the three seats up for election on the Hermann city council. Ward 1 Alderman Ronald Van Booven filed for mayor on the first day of filing, while Bruce Cox, Ward 1, and Brian Chorley, Ward 2, filed for their board seats.
The office of mayor opened when Larry Miskel, who was elected three terms as mayor, won the election for northern district commissioner of Gasconade County.
Filing for seats on the school board and the city of Hermann ends Jan. 15.
