By staff writer

The Hermann Area Chamber of Commerce is planning the first Gerald Engemann Memorial Awards Banquet to honor a loyal supporter of community projects.
Mr. Engemann was killed several years ago in a heavy equipment accident in Montgomery County. He was the past president and a board member of the Chamber of Commerce.
An awards banquet is being planned for Thursday, Jan. 17, at the Hermann Hill Village Pavilion. There will be a cash bar starting at 6 p.m., and the banquet will begin at 7 p.m.
This awards ceremony will recognize those who, in the spirit of Gerald Engemann, have provided exceptional service to the Hermann community.

Tickets for this event are $17.50 if purchased before Jan. 11. Tickets will cost $20 per person if purchased after that date.

Anyone can purchase tickets at the Hermann Welcome Center, 312 Market Street, or you can call them for more information at (573) 486-2313.
