At its meeting on Dec. 13, the Gasconade County R-1 Board of Education awarded a parking light bid to Grannemann Sales and Service of Hermann.
Chad Grannemann submitted the low bid of $35,995.
The district plans to upgrade the lights at the middle school parking lot, and want to blend in those poles with those at the new bus barn and maintenance building to the north of the school.
Grannemann Sales & Service also provided a voluntary alternate bid using LED lights. The board awarded the bid to Grannemann and approved the alternate bid pending Nick Godat’s (architect) evaluation, and assurance that the light would be sufficiently bright, and efficiency would provide the district strong savings.
Brian Grannemann Services and Brune Electric also submitted bids.
