Ernestine Mueller, President of the Gasconade County R-1 Alumni Association, congratulates Kegan Hagedorn  on completing his studies at the School of Automotive Machinists in Houston, Texas.
Kegan is the first recipient of the Alumni Association’s Technical/Vocational Scholarship to complete his schooling. At the school, he was instructed in all facets of building engines for high performance race cars. While in high school, he successfully competed in drag racing at the Junior level, and he plans to continue racing. He has not decided which of many opportunities he has for the future he will accept, whether it will be to work with a pit crew or in a shop to build engines.
He is the son of Larry and Becky Hagedorn.
The Alumni Association awards a 2-year technical/vocational and 4-year university scholarship each year. All donations are accepted towards these scholarships and the alumni association can be contacted at alumni@hermann.k12.mo.us.
