Hermann Area District Hospital received a handmade quilt from an anonymous donor. They wanted to show their appreciation for the compassionate care they received during their stay at Hermann Area District Hospital. This patient wanted the quilt to go to an employee at the hospital. Her wish was to give back to the employees. During the process of making the quilt it turned in to a labor of love and appreciation for those who gave her outstanding care during her stay. The Queen Size Folk Art Cross Stitched hand quilted quilt was to be given to a lucky employee at the Hospital Christmas Party. All the employees’ names were put in a hat and the winner was drawn. The winner was Lori Henry, RN.
