The Community Foundation of the Hermann Area has announced that a new fund has been created to honor the late Gerald Engemann, who was a founding CF of HA board member.
The announcement came as a part of the Hermann Chamber of Commerce’s first Gerald Engemann Memorial Awards Banquet, held last Thursday. Many of Engemann’s family were present for the banquet in which many people were recognized for their contribution to the community. The banquet was led by Raylene Hollrah, outgoing Chamber president.
“It was our (the Chamber’s) dream to bring our awards banquet back, celebrating the great things that make our community so special,” said Hollrah.
