The Hermann Board of Aldermen approved the park board’s request to hire Madison Myers as the 2013 swimming pool manager.
Marcia Bucker, human resource manager, told the board last Monday that it was necessary to approve a new pool manager so she can start her state certified training.
Myers, a graduate of Hermann High School, is a college student and has previously been a lifeguard at the city pool. She will replace Madalynn Lenger, who has been the pool manager for the past three summers. She is not returning because of her schooling. She will be doing a summer rotation in physical therapy.
