In a tournament where they struggled to find consistency, Hermann’s girls finished their tournament with a good fourth quarter and defeated New Haven, 47-34, Friday night. It was for third place, though, not where the Lady Bearcats and Shamrocks were supposed to meet in this tourney.
Both were upset last Wednesday in the semifinals. Hermann was the No. 1 seed, and New Haven was No. 2.

It was the third time this season Hermann has defeated New Haven, all coming in tournaments. They’ll meet for the fourth time at Hermann on Feb. 7 in a Four Rivers Conference game.
Hermann grabbed a 13-4 lead at the quarter and spread it to 20-9 midway through the second quarter.
