Hermann DECA students qualify for state

Members of the Hermann DECA Chapter competed at Missouri DECA DIstrict 5 Career Development Conference on February 7. Competitors were face with real-life business and marketing situations and had to develop solutions. DECA members were competing against 12 other area schools. DECA is a national student organization for students interested in marketing, management, or entrepreneurship careers.
Hermann students qualifying to compete in DECA State competition are: Sara Fahrenholtz – Leadership Event 1st place; Sara Fahrenholtz, Emily Thompson and Breanna Lattin, 1st place in Chapter Community Service Project; Arthur Schneider,  1st place in Principles of Marketing; Joseph Schebaum and Kelsey Crabtree, 2nd place in Business Law and Ethics Team Decision Making; Amanda Creacy, Armando Matech and Mercedes Gotsch, 2nd place in Chapter Public Relations Project; and Colton Hubbard, 2nd place in Food Marketing Management.
