The 5-5 playmaker, along with teammate Jamie Gleeson, were named to the first team of the All-Conference team. Todd Anderson of Hermann and Jason Merkel of Sullivan were chosen co-coaches of the year.
Lane, who moved into Hermann’s starting lineup as a freshman after Ashley Brooks suffered a season-ending knee injury, has been the Lady Bearcats’ playmaker ever since the graduation of Shelby Winkelmann.

On a team that featured balanced scoring, Lane averaged 14.7 points a game to lead Hermann, and was second on her team in rebounds, averaging nearly 9 per game. But her more impressive numbers were in steals and assists. She led the St. Louis area with 164 steals, nearly six a game, while averaging 6.36 assists a game.
