The Bank Bar at Second and Schiller streets will once again hold The Braunschweiger Ball in conjunction with Hermann’s Wurstfest.
This year’s event is Saturday, March 23, starting at 7 p.m.
This is an unusual combination of events, with contest tasting (pate) to be judged at 8 p.m. Entries in the contest will be accepted from 3 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. There will be prizes for sculptural, creative presentation and taste.
There is no entry fee and no cover charge.
The Bluff-Tones will provide music for the evening.
It’s also a ball, said Constance LaBoube, so you can show up in zany costume or dress.
