The Edwin and Mary Streck Educational Foundation is pleased to announce the arrival of a new iMac computer with Adobe Creative Suite 6.0 software for the high school art department. This equipment will allow Lela Pohlmann, art teacher, to incorporate graphic design / computer imaging back into the art curriculum and give the students hands on experience on state of the art equipment that current college students and professionals use every day in the art world!
Edwin and Mary Streck were highly interested in the fine arts and wanted to encourage interest and provide more opportunities for Hermann High School students. Once a year, fine arts instructors must apply to the Foundation with specific requests, which are then considered for funding. The Foundation has been able to provide for all the departments in ways that help to keep them at the cutting edge of their fields
