“The Franklin County Humane Society is planning the 2nd annual benefit rummage sale to raise funds for the care of the animals at the shelter. Donations from the community will be greatly appreciated. Donations may be dropped off between 11 am and 3 pm any day except Sunday at the shelter. Wanted items include household & kitchen goods, dishes, home decor items, collectibles, toys, kids’ stuff, holiday decorations, craft/sewing items, pictures, pet items, books, games, CDs, DVDs, office supplies, filing cabinets and furniture in good conditon. The shelter cannot accept clothing, shoes, TVs, computers or anything broken. We are in need of tables any size and a dolly to use for the sale. Donations are tax deductible; a receipt will be provided listing donated items upon request when dropping off donations.
