  • Hermann board OKs 2015 swimming pool rates

    The rates have gone up for using the Hermann Swimming Pool this season. The pool is scheduled to open at noon on Monday, May 25, Memorial Day, and close at 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 15. Pool hours will be Monday-Thursday noon-6 p.m.; Friday noon to 7 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday noon  to 6 p.m. A family pass (for a family of 4 living in the same household) remains at $100;

    Montgomery County School District administrator Lisa Grosse, right, is a winner of a statewide FCCLA award. Grosse is a former instructor at Hermann High School.

    Montgomery County High School Assistant Principal Lisa Grosse has received the 2015 Missouri Family, Career and Community Leaders of America Outstanding Admini-strator Award. Missouri FCCLA is an organization that promotes personal growth and leadership development through family and consumer sciences education. Prior to joining the Montgomery County School District staff, Grosse was the agricultural educator at Hermann High School. She was in that position from 1996-2010.
