Hermann Community Chorus to present Fall Concert Nov. 2

The Hermann Area Chorus will present its Fall Concert Sunday, Nov. 2, at 2 p.m. in the Hermann High School Auditorium.  The concert is free and open to the public. Donations will be accepted during the program to benefit the Hermann Area Chorus. The newly formed Women’s Chorus will perform for the first time at the Concert, singing “In Time of Silver Rain” with text by Langston Hughes and music

    Having touched so many aspects of life in her beloved Hermann, Mildred “Mimi” Schmidt has left a large legacy indeed. Schmidt died Saturday at the age of 92. Funeral services are set for Friday morning at St. Paul United Church of Christ with visitation set for Thursday.
