The Hermann Advertiser-Courier this year joins the Missouri Press Association and AT&T in sponsoring a contest that will challenge St George Catholic school,Hermann Middle School and High School students to write an editorial or opinion column highlighting the dangers of texting while driving.     The new Amtrak station in Hermann will be celebrated Friday morning when officials snips the ribbon, officially marking the opening.
