Scenic Regional chief advocates consolidation of districts into single entity

A continuous two-month cleanup by barge that will be traveling downstream from Brunswick to Hermann this September and October, passing through Jameson Island Big Muddy Refuge, Boonville, Cooper’s Landing and Jefferson City.   • Hermann School District moves ahead with developing drug-test policy for students

    A random drug-testing policy for students in extra-curricular activities and those who park their cars on campus will be developed after getting the green light last week from the Gasconade County R-1 School District. A committee of students, faculty and parents will be assembled in the coming weeks to begin crafting the policy.
