Gasconade R-1 District earns Gold Award as being breastfeeding-friendly worksite

RR Donnelley in Owensville and Gasconade County R-1 School District in Hermann have joined a growing number of Missouri businesses by becoming Gold Level Missouri Breastfeeding Friendly Worksites. The Missouri Breastfeeding Friendly Worksite Program is a collaborative between the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services and the Missouri Breastfeeding Coalition.     St. George 8th-Grader Brenna Jones is the state Middle School Division winner of the “It Can Wait” campaign aimed at discouraging texting while driving. The contest is sponsored by AT&T and the Missouri Press Association.   • Amtrak Station art contest extended to area 8th Graders
