Hermann summer school to run June 3-28

By staff writer The Gasconade County R-1 School District is again offering summer programs which are open to all students who are enrolled in Kindergarten through eighth grades for the next (2013-14) school year.     By staff writer Members of the Hermann FFA Chapter attended State FFA Convention in Columbia on April 18 and 19. The Agricultural Mechanics team placed 7th with a Group 1 rating.   • Hermann FFA earns $1,000 in FFA Chapter Challenge

    Members of the Hermann FFA chapter not only learned first-hand about agricultural livelihoods, but also earned $1,000 for their FFA program by participating in the third annual FFA Chapter Challenge. New this year, Chapter Challenge offered FFA members in 15 states two ways to participate. Chapters could compete in the Voting Challenge or the Chapter Advocacy Portfolio Challenge.
