    St. George School will host its first Education Fair, which will be combined with the annual Open House, on Thursday, April 23. The event is scheduled from 5:30-7 p.m. While similar to a Science Fair, an Education Fair does not limit itself to one subject. Pre-kindergarten-through-8th-Grade students will showcase projects, exhibits, multi-media presentations and a variety of displays in different subject areas.   • Bader tabbed to continue leading Gasconade R-1 board

    Brenda Bader was tabbed last week for another term as the head of the Gasconade County R-1 School District Board of Directors. Bader was elected by the other directors during Thursday night’s reorganization meeting after two new members were sworn into office.   • Hermann FFA team headed to National Convention

    Hermann High School's FFA floraculture team, which claimed 1st Place at the State Convention and is now headed to compete at the FFA National Convention in October.

    A Hermann High School FFA Chapter team is headed to National competition — the first time in about two decades. The chapter’s floriculture team of Morgan LaBoube, Heather Hingst, Dana Hart and Jacob Bockting took 1st Place in the Floriculture CDE at the State FFA Convention last Friday.
