Scenic Regional Library tax hike is approved in all three counties

Scenic Regional Library tax levy increase received the widest support in Gasconade County in the three-county district in last Tuesday’s election. It passed in all three counties, and needed a simple majority in the combined district. Voters in Gasconade County gave the issue 1,378 “yes” votes to 743 “no” votes. In Franklin County voters narrowly approved the 10-cent increase by 97 votes. The vote was 3,850 in favor of the

    The FFA chapter at Hermann High School held its annual Barnyard Day on Wednesday, February 19. Students from Hermann Elementary School, St. George School and Little Bearcats Preschool in pre-k through second grade were bussed to the high school to participate in Barnyard Day.
