HADH board could OK August special tax-increase vote

A special meeting of the Hermann Area District Hospital Board of Directors is set for Friday afternoon to consider adopting a measure calling for a special vote in August to increase the district’s property tax. The special session is set for 4:30 p.m. at the hospital. An increase in the property tax — now standing at 70 cents per $100 assessed value — is a key part of the plan
