Almost a new year. Do you have a resolution? Have you had one in the past? How did that work out for you? If you’re like me, I was certainly resolved for a few minutes, a week or maybe a month. Don’t worry, I like you just the way you are!
We do have extraordinary people in this town. The real movers and shakers are not the people who get paid to shake, but those who shake on their own accord. Volunteers abound in the Hermann area. A good resolution might be to thank any volunteer you know and I resolve to do just that!
Christmas on the Corner was great fun last Friday. The Hermann Trolley has a celebration each year for the town’s people. It’s their way of saying thanks to the community. I want to take a moment to say thank you to the trolley. Yes, you hold up traffic and make me go around you while you are loading passengers, but many of our visitors would not be able to make it out to out-of-town wineries without your help. Thanks for the grand party on Friday and thanks for the service you provide. Just watch it the next time I meet you on the road to OakGlenn. Ha.
