The only thing left is for a really good, hard rain to fall on Hermann.
To be more specific, to fall on the Gasconade County Courthouse. Only then will county administrators be assured that the roof renovation is successful. County officials Thursday morning held their last meeting with roofing contractors, who were loading up their equipment and heading back to Kansas.
“We’re very pleased with the outcome,” said Presiding Commissioner Larry Miskel during the weekly session of the County Commission.
Said Joe Brazil of St. Charles County, a representative of TREMCO, the metal-roof supplier, “In conclusion, I think it all went well. There was some drama, but it all went well.”
