All seven incumbents in Gasconade County government offices to be filled in this year’s elections last Tuesday filed for another term as the month-long filing season began.
Of those, all of whom are Republicans, only one faces an Aug. 7 Primary Election challenge. Circuit Clerk Pam Greunke is being challenged by Joann Dobson, a county government employee.
The other county government officeholders whose terms expire Dec. 31 are Presiding Commissioner Larry Miskel, Prosecuting Attorney Mary Weston, County Clerk Lesa Lietzow, Collector of Revenue Shawn Schlottach and Treasurer Michael Feagan.
