For Gasconade County offices, all 7 incumbents file on first day, 1 faces primary challenge

Of the 7 Gasconade County government offices to be filled this fall, all incumbents filed for re-election Tuesday, the opening of filing for county, state and federal offices. Of those, one will face an August Primary Election challenge.

Circuit Clerk Pam Greunke is being challenged for the GOP nomination by Joann Dobson.

For state legislative offices, Rep. Justin Alferman, R-Hermann, has filed for another term in the 61st District. Democrat Pamela A. Menefee of Washington filed for the right to challenge Alferman in November’s General Election.

d to succeed term-limited State Sen. Mike Kehoe, R-Jefferson City, in Missouri Senate’s 6th District, which includes Gasconade County.
