It’s been a busy two months for Kirsten Parr, the owner-operator of Country Flair Designs, a new home decor shop on Market Street.
If she’s not creating wreaths or printing shirts for local companies, she’s boxing up home-decor items for shipment across the country.
Parr opened Country Flair Designs Nov. 9 at 406 Market Street, directly across the highway from Sugar Momma’s.
Most recently, she has been busy producing custom apparel.
“We customize just about anything,” Parr said, adding that having items monogrammed is becoming more popular.
“We do a lot of monograms,” she said.
It is work done with a local touch. “We do everything in house,” she said.
The shop contains much more than clothing items such as shirts. It offers a variety of home-decor items — seasonal and year-round conversation pieces.
Beyond that, Parr offers a selection of essential oils and personal care products.
A resident of Rhinedland, Parr spent her early years in this area and then later years in the St. Charles area. Now, the mother of three has settled back in the area and is looking forward to supplying the home-decorating needs of both local residents and visitors coming into Hermann.
Store hours are 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Monday-Friday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on Saturday and on Sunday by appointment.
