The First Continental Pheasant Hunt and Trapshoot Fund Raiser to benefit the community’s hospital will be held Saturday morning in Montgomery County.
Set for the Wild Boar Creek Pheasant Farm on Highway 94, the event is sponsored by the Hermann Area District Hospital Foundation.
The Foundation, which has been five years in the making, is a 501 (c)3 organization that can accepts tax-deductible donations. It’s purpose is to support the Hermann Area District Hospital.
Governed by a 5-member board, the HADH Foundation makes grants to the hospital from the interest earned by the investment of the donations it receives and the revenue it raises through events such as the pheasant hunt, which has an entry fee of $150 per gun.
In case of bad weather, the pheasant hunt will be held on Saturday, April 7.
