Proposal is made to city to use statue of Hermann as new logo
By staff writer Historic Hermann, Inc., has been working on a logo in hopes that the city would adopt it as the new official logo for Hermann. The city board of alderman and mayor are not yet convinced that they want it.
At Monday night's city council meeting, Joy Kallmeyer and Dave Fagerness made a presentation on behalf of Historic Hermann's board of directors. A few months ago, John Klinger made the first announcement to the city, letting the aldermen know that a log featuring the statue of Hermann that adorns the parkway is being proposed as the new logo.
