Board of aldermen discuss city's cable TV agreement

A new agreement with the city's cable television provider will have to be signed soon, but not before the board of alderman gets some answers to their concerns. That was the main topic of a short city council meeting Monday night.


The agreement that was signed four years ago with Mediacom is set to expire. There was a lot of discussion before the city signed off on it, and there are still questions about service.


Members of the board of aldermen heard an overview of the agreement from City Attorney David Politte, who said a representative came in four years ago and talked to the board.
