If the coming winter affords three weeks of ice cutting weather, more ice will be put in Hermann than ever before in one season.

The barber shop variety show will be held next Friday evening in the high school auditorium. Barbershop groups from Hermann, Union and Centralia will take part in the program of quartet and chorus numbers. There will also be humor skits and dancing, and entertainment by the Hungry Five.

B A Wagner, president of the Hermann bank, has been named campaign treasurer for the Hermann 1972 March against dystrophy.

A new sign marking the iron landing at the Missouri River and Herman has been donated by the brush and palette club.
