The first movie night at The Corner is approaching on Saturday night, February 29th at 7:00 p.m. on the event side.  The movie showing will be Frozen 2 and Anna, Elsa and Olaf will be making an appearance.  Children are encouraged to dress in their pajamas or in costume and to bring sleeping bags and pillows so they can be comfortable while watching the movie.  Refreshments will be served.

Becky Hagedorn and sister-in-law Marsha Hagedorn are in Germany visiting with daughter Franny and husband and the grandchildren.  The ladies seem to be having a grand time visiting the sites with family. We wish them safe travels on their journey.

Heather Rateliff Bacon won a cooking contest sponsored by her employer, OPAA foods.  She won with a three-cheese bacon mac and cheese recipe.  Congratulations!  Heather was also excited to get her brother Nathaniel Rateliff’s solo album “And It’s Still Alright”  that came out on February 14th.  She also celebrated with her Momma Sandy Rateliff-Perkins who had a birthday on the 22nd by getting to listen to the album together.  Brother Nathaniel’s concert tour promoting the album is sold out across the country.  Something to be proud of.

Tammy Bruckerhoff along with her mother Sylvia Bruckerhoff attended a Quilt Bingo event at Holy Rosary Parish in Warrenton on Saturday.  Tammy won a quilt raffle and came home with a beautiful quilt.

Debbie Polacek-Hans and Andrea Anderson accompanied me for a night out in Hermann on Saturday night.

We enjoyed dinner at 4th Street Pizza and then attended “The Gift of Jazz” a tribute to black history month at The Showboat Theatre.  We enjoyed visiting with Sharon Elsenraat before the show and others.  We really enjoyed the show.
