I am worn out. What a busy, wonderful weekend. The football team played like a group of brothers. You could cut the testosterone with a knife out on the field. Check out the pictures on the newspaper Facebook page and come watch them at home this Friday!
The car show was, as always, incredible. Did I mention testosterone? I was never a gal to be impressed with a hot car but there where many of my classmates that were and the car show brings back lots of memories. Doug Smith, you and your crew do a wonderful job each year at the show. Please keep on truckin’.

Speaking of breaking news, (isn’t free ice cream breaking news?) aren’t we glad that we don’t have to call on our 1st responders often? Please take note of those honored in this week’s paper. We are the luckiest area around because we are so well taken care of. Thanks to you all. Also note all the businesses who helped bring their photos to the paper this week. This is by NO MEANS all the businesses that appreciate them, just the ones who got the word.
Again, in my best Italian voice, fingers pinched together…havea gooda weeka.
