"I am grateful for what I am and have. My thanksgiving is perpetual."

— Henry David Thoreau

What a great quote. I hope your day of thanks is unremarkable and wonderful.

There is a new, little pizza girl in town, see the ad and congratulations!

This weekend is small business Saturday. Go Hermann! Go Gasconade County! Let’s spend our money at home! Furniture…got it. Home décor…got it. Gas gift cards…got it. Pharmacy gift cards…got them too! Oh, and grocery gift cards are always appreciated.

I’ve written before that my mom would be upset with another knick-knack to dust but she LOVED getting food gift cards or credits to her utility company.

I grew up in the 1970s. The musical Godspell was influential in my life. What a joy to watch the high school drama club present it last weekend. I cried twice. It was a great performance. Go drama!

Thanksgiving is a time to count your blessings, one by one, as each relative goes home. ~ Melanie White

One last quote. You know that just before the first Thanksgiving there was one wise old Native American woman saying, "Don't feed them. If you feed them, they'll never leave." ~ Dylan Brody
