What a great day to dedicate the flags honoring the branches of our military at The Corner; Katie and Al along with the Rhineland American Legion Post #147 worked hard to organize the event. The crowd gathered Saturday afternoon for an awesome celebration. Those attending were treated to some interesting history of the Legion’s origins in Rhineland and Steve Mueller shared a poem about the American Flag that was absolutely priceless. The large crowd enjoyed brats, hotdogs and drinks and incredibly patriotic music performed by The Morton Sisters. The weather was nice for the flag dedication and the party continued inside. A big thank you to all who volunteered and attended the event.
