Ferals in Peril celebrates 10 years

The non-profit group Ferals in Peril, Inc.,  recently celebrated a special anniversary. Ten years ago the town faced a serious homeless cat problem. Using a proven method of “trap/neuter/return,” this group has humanely decreased the homeless population of cats by 99 percent in Hermann and surrounding areas.

Approximately 3,000 cats have been spayed or neutered and homes have been found for more than 1,500.  Please remember that one female cat left not spayed can result in hundreds of unwanted kittens within a few years.

The group wants to thank the area residents for their continuous and generous support. The job is not finished. Find out how you can help by following the organization on Facebook.
