Firefighters receive new flashlights

Lisa Cotton, Auxiliary President, with Fire Chief Wayne Carl.

The New Haven-Berger Fire Department Auxiliary has purchased new flashlights for all the District’s fire trucks. The new LED flashlights are brighter, lighter, and smaller than the lights they are replacing, most of which date back to the late 90s when the District was formed. The new lights will increase firefighter safety and eliminate the increasing repair costs of the older flashlights. The $3,500 project was funded with proceeds from the Auxiliary’s annual mouse race. Their next event is Mar. 7, at the Cedar Creek Conference Center. For more information, email or like them on Facebook @NHBFDAuxiliary.
