Murder case reaches

one-year benchmark

Exactly one year later as of today, Hermann's lone murder case from 2020 remains unresolved, as an upcoming court date looms for the defendant.

Christine Weber, of Hermann, remains incarcerated in the Crawford County Jail in Steelville. She is charged with first-degree murder and felony armed criminal action for allegedly shooting Al Falco on Dec. 15, 2020, in a duplex at Ninth and Goethe streets.

Weber next faces a 9 a.m. appearance on Friday, Jan. 28, 2022, before Circuit Judge Craig Hellman.

The Advertiser-Courier was unable to make contact over the past week with Gasconade County Prosecutor Mary Weston for any pertinent updates on the case's progress through the local court system.
