Kenneth Edward Devlin of New Florence,

Kenneth Edward Devlin of New Florence, Missouri passed away Saturday, June 26, 2021 at St. Joseph Hospital West, Lake St. Louis, Missouri.

Kenneth was born on October 3, 1939 near Starkenburg, Missouri, the eldest of eight sons of the late Edward and Lucille (Overkamp) Devlin.

Ken could talk to anyone, visiting with strangers and friends alike.  Many commented on his laughter.

He and his family lived in Excelsior Springs for many years with Ken taking an active, supportive role in his children’s activities.

Ken was an active member of the Knights of Columbus, joining the Montgomery City Council 2044, then transferring his membership to Council 6215 in Excelsior Springs where he served many years as Financial Secretary.  He was a 4th degree member of Father Edward F. Mallen Assembly 2075 in Excelsior Springs.

After retirement from Ford, Ken went to work for Red Cross Pharmacy delivering prescriptions, spending time visiting with those who could not get out to pick up their prescriptions.  After the death of his wife Patricia, Ken returned “home” moving to New Florence, Missouri to be nearer to family and old friends.

Kenneth is survived by his children Barbara Anderson and husband Mark of Camdenton, Missouri, Sharon Devlin of New Florence, Missouri, and Brian Devlin and wife Jacci of Princeton, Texas, his grandchildren Kira Williams, Rose Cuello Penaloza and husband Paolo, McKenna Devlin, and Briana Devlin,  two brothers, Sidney Devlin and wife Brenda of New Florence, Missouri, and Gene Devlin and wife Liz of New Florence, Missouri, a brother-in-law Richard Humm of Sugar Creek, Missouri, four sister’s in law, Connie Brower & husband Kelly of St. Louis, Missouri, Donna Devlin of Montgomery City, Missouri, Linda Devlin of House Springs, Missouri, Ruth Devlin of New Florence, Missouri and many nephews, nieces and other relatives.
