Robin Ray Fields, 57, of Berger, MO
Robin Ray Fields, 57, of Berger, MO passed away due to complications related to COVID-19 at Missouri Baptist Medical Center on December 27, 2020.
Robin was born to William(Frank0 and Evelyn Fields in St Louis , Mo on June 2, 1963.
Above all, Robin loved his wife, children and  granddaughter.  He lovingly called his wife “mama” even to strangers. And anytime his kids called he answered with “Hey Honey!” and ended with 10 I love you’s.
He was an amazing father. He attended every event/performance his children were in, even if they only had one line or sat on the bench the entire game. He would always say how proud he was of his children, and bragged on them constantly.
Next to his family he loved his job. For the last 10  years, Robin worked at Tri County Trucking in Hermann, MO as a trash truck driver. He was the friendliest trash man you ever met. He took pride in his job. If you were on his route, you know how much he cared. From making sure the lids were on tight so they wouldn’t blow away, to honking his horn and waving at the little kids at home, to walking up the driveway to get your cans if you forgot to bring them down. Robin also had the cleanest trash truck you ever saw, he took pride in his work, washing and shining his truck frequently!
Robin was also a huge supporter of his community. He spent time as a volunteer firefighter on the New Haven/Berger Fire Department, Boy Scout Leader to Troop 216 in Hermann. He also volunteered his time building props for school concerts and plays.
Robin was never not busy. You would often find Robin behind a grill, whether it was  sunny or snowing. One of his favorite pastimes was "taking a drive" on the weekend, with Mama.  He loved to have fires in the backyard and lay in the pool on hot summer days. But his favorite pastime was “taking a drive” on the weekends with Mama.He was always working outside-cutting the grass, painting the house and landscaping. When he wasn't outside, you could find him inside-decorating for his favorite holiday, Halloween and Christmas, or cooking his famous spaghetti.
He will be missed by all that knew him and even more by his family. Robin is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Lisbeth Fields, beautiful children, Ashley Fields of Hope Mills, NC; Audrey McManemin and husband Jon of Fort Worth, TX; Adam Fields of Labadie, MO. And Granddaughter, Finley McManemin. He is survived by other close family members, Amanda Tobben and husband Cody, and children Breanna and Austin of Lonedell, Mo.
