Timothy Alan Wright, 48, of Fulton, MO, passed away Monday, December 12, 2022 in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
Tim was born in Hermann, Missouri on December 24, 1973, the son of the late Gerald T. & Katheryn A. (Haeffner) Wright.
Tim worked as a security shift supervisor for Callaway Energy Center, Ameren Missouri since 1997.
Tim is survived by two brothers, Donnie Wright & wife Gena, of Freeburg, Missouri and Jon "Butch" Wright & girlfriend Erica Kaullen, of Jefferson City, Missouri; his long-term girlfriend, Shellie Sneed-Summers, of Fulton, Missouri; three nieces, Jessie Wright, Blaire Wright and Ashley Paige; a very close cousin, Dean Haeffner & wife Chris, of St. Louis, Missouri, and other relatives and many friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and a nephew, Tre Alan Wright.
Tim was an avid and passionate St. Louis Cardinals and Kansas City Chiefs fan. He attended as many games as he could every season, even traveling to other stadiums in many other states to attend games and collecting memorabilia from both teams over the years. He was also very involved in his fantasy football leagues and could be heard on game days.
In his free time he loved going to the casinos to gamble, especially playing the slot machines. He also loved music, attending concerts and especially loved a good night of singing karaoke. He enjoyed golfing, traveling and spending time in the pool at home with a cold beer, hanging out and grilling.
Tim had a larger than life personality, a great sense of humor, a love for having fun, and was a kind and caring man. He believed in living life to its fullest, with having as much fun as he could along the way. He had a contagious smile and laugh with the ability to make anyone around him laugh as well with his humor. He will be greatly missed, to know him was to love him.
Visitation will be held Friday, January 20th from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann, where funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m.
