PRESS RELEASE SEPTEMBER 9-15, 2019

On 9/9/2019, members of the Gasconade County Sheriff’s Office (GCSO) arrested Nicholas Comparato, age 41 of Owensville on a three Gasconade County warrants charging him with Driving while Revoked, Failure to Register Vehicle, and Display/Possess Plates of Another. He was transported to the Crawford County Jail an incarcerated in lieu of a $150 bond.

On 9/9/2019, members of the GCSO arrested Ray Richard Kitchen, age 31 of Belle on two Gasconade County warrants charging him with Misdemeanor Stealing and Misdemeanor Trespassing. He was transported to the Crawford County Jail and incarcerated on a $200 bond.

On 9/9/2019, members of the GCSO responded to the 2200 Block of Highway V for reported trespassing. The homeowner reported a male subject was inside her home while she was away. Deputies cited Keegan D. Meadows, age 17 of Gerald for Trespass First Degree. He was released on a summons.

On 9/10/2019, members of the GCSO responded to the 3800 Block of Highway T for a reported burglary. The homeowner reported sometime between 9/8/2019-9/10/2019 person(s) unknown had forcibly entered his home. As of the time of the report, the homeowner was unsure of exactly what was stolen. The investigation continues.

On 9/10/2019, members of the GCSO cited Kody Wells, age 22 of Cuba for Careless & Imprudent Driving. He was released on a summons.

On 9/11/2019, members of the GCSO, with assistance from the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department conducted an investigation at a residence in the 100 Bloc of Hill-Klein Road near Leslie. That investigation led to the arrest of Lydia Vilkanskas, age 37 of Leslie who was wanted for Probation Violation. The investigation also led to the recovery of a stolen hammer drill taken in an 8/1/2019 burglary that occurred on Price Road in Gasconade County. There was insufficient evidence to make an arrest in connection with the stolen tool.

On 9/11/2019, members of the GCSO responded to the 2000 Block of Choctaw Path for reported property damage. The homeowner believes person(s) unknown fired a shot at his residence striking his metal roof. There are no suspects currently.

On 9/11/2019, members of the GCSO responded to the 3800 Block of Fourth Street for a reported theft and property damage. The investigation revealed that person(s) unknown had broken into a garage on the property but was apparently scared away due to a quick response by the Owensville Police Department which responded after a mutual aid request was sent by GCSO. The investigation continues.

On 9/12/2019, members of the GCSO arrested Justice Figgemeier, age 17 of Owensville on a Gasconade County warrant charging him with Passing Bad Checks. He was released after posting a $1000 bond.

On 9/13/2019, members of the GCSO responded to the 3500 Block of Rolling Home Park for reported property damage. A resident reported person(s) unknown had struck their vehicle and then left the scene. There are no suspects currently.

On 9/14/2019, members of the GCSO responded to a mutual aid request from Franklin County to respond to a residence in the 9400 Block of Droste Road near Gerald. While on the scene the GCSO Deputy arrested William Wyrick, age 27 of Blank on a warrant charging him with Probation Violation. He was transported to the Crawford County Jail and incarcerated without bond.

On 9/15/2019, members of the GCSO responded to the 2600 Block of Highway 19 for a motor vehicle theft. A male reported his white 1997 Chevrolet S-10 pickup stolen, along with a kayak and a canoe. There are no suspects currently.
