Stanley A. Schneider peacefully passed away on December 3, 2024, in Carbondale, Illinois at the age of 81. Stan was born on December 26, 1942, in Hermann, Missouri. He proudly served in the Army National Guard and was an accountant at Bemis Curwood in Murphysboro, Illinois for over 30 years.

Stan is survived by his wife of 57 years, Carolyn (Schaumburg) Schneider; his sons, Brian, Darrick (Mindy), Shaun (Megan), and Keith; five grandsons and one granddaughter, and niece Kristin (Schneider) Jensen. He is preceded in death by his father, Arnold Schneider; mother, Lucilda (Nolting) Schneider-Monroe; brother, Kenny Schneider; and nephew, Kevin Schneider.

Visitation took place on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at 11:00am at Meredith Funeral Home in Carbondale followed by a funeral service at 12:00pm with Pastor Debbie Rathert officiating. Burial followed at Hagler Cemetery in Alto Pass, Illinois.
