Julia Ann Leija, 70, of Hermann, MO, passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at StoneBridge Senior Living, Hermann, Missouri, after a long battle with cancer.
  Julia was born in Dexter, Missouri on September 13, 1954, the daughter of the late Benjamin Leija & Mary L. (Costello) Smith.
  Julia is survived by a daughter, Angelica Cadena, of Annapolis, Maryland; three grandchildren, Damien Cadena, of Annapolis, Maryland, John F. Corona IV, of San Antonio, Texas and Madeleine A. Corona, of Annapolis, Maryland; three sisters, Rose Fletcher, of Arkansas; Mickey Alecia McGuire, of St. Louis, Missouri; and Sonya McLaughlin, of Union, Missouri. She is preceded in death by her parents and a son, Jesse Cadena.
