For Julie McCollum, it all started with a collection of purses she didn't use and an idea she calls a “Godwink.” Today, that simple moment of inspiration has blossomed into Touch of Hope, a nonprofit organization that has provided over 22,000 bags of essential hygiene products to victims of crisis across Missouri and beyond. The organization’s origin is tied directly to another local charity event.
