Ringing In 2025 At Historic German School

As the clock struck midnight on December 31, 2024, Hermann’s Historic German School House rang with the joyous sound of the bell ringing from the clocktower atop the building. _is treasured tradition, which has been a part of the community for many years, and marks the arrival of the New Year in a way that resonates with the town’s rich German heritage. Historic Hermann’s president, Cory Orr, says “People appreciate the genuine tradition and enjoy participating in the bell ringing.” _e event brought in about 50 people who paused their New Years Eve celebrations to pull the rope and ring the bell.

Waiting For Midnight At Stone Hill Overlook

Old friends gathered together for snacks and drinks at B&B owner, Jim Allen’s house for a rehash of 2024 and previous New Years’ Eve “get togethers “. Past NYEs started and ended at local resident, Ruth Heck’s house on 2nd St. Many of the guests worked for local wineries and brought plenty of bottles of their favorite vintages for everyone to sample. Cheap generic wines were pushed to the back, and the good stu 2was imbibed _rst. At Jim’s house, a litle less wine was enjoyed, but the many memories shared by the friends in attendance made up for it.

Love In The Air For Wedding Trail

Couples will be checking out what Hemann has to offer for romantic weddings this Saruday. Held three times a year, the Wedding Trail showcases all Hermann has to offer for a beautiful Wine Country wedding. The Trail will be held Saturday January 11, 2025 with a snow make-up day on Sunday, January 12th if needed. The event is Free and open to the public During the Wedding Trail, engaged couples and their families have an opportunity to tour wedding and reception venues at their own pace. Along the way, they can meet with wedding vendors and explore lodging options.
